My wife and I are doing a loan application tomorrow for our new house tomorrow and I realized that my SS card is missing. She has hers, but mine is gone. Am I screwed tomorrow? Thanks.

Like a lot of young people i got a credit card before i was ready. When i was 18 i got a Capital 1 card with a 400 limit…After a few months i lost my job and not able to pay; that was all back in 2001.
In 2007 i got a copy of my credit report and started to clean it up and pay off another old debt i had to for a ticket. Capital 1 had on my report amount was around $1300. I tried to settle the debt for around $600 (orig was $400) They said they could not settle for less than $1000. So i decided to let it go another year and it would fall off my report. Well i just checked and it is off my report but….I got a letter today from a credit agency for the debt from capital one saying the amount is now $1835.
My question is, can this agency now bring this debt back to my credit report after over 8 years?
Like i stated above it fell of my credit report after 7yrs. my question was can the collection pleople put it back on

I have two chase credit card i was doing my payment on time that was untill i got laid off,So now its been like a year since ive made a payment. So now it has reached the chase recovery department I guess my main question is can they take away my tax return. And what can i do about it is it possibel to make arrangement of payment because i do want to pay them off.

During loan application process everywhere, you have to specify the Property Type as either ‘Primary Residence’, ‘Second Home’ or “Rental Property’ . Ofcourse this is my first home and I am going to live in it, I will declare it as Primary Residence.
But then tomorrow, if I move out or my job is transferred to some other location, does that mean I would not be able to Rent my appartment ?

We need for him to fill out a student loan application. The CC keeps telling us that we need to find out the status of the app. can someone help me get this?
I have a few (three) negative items on my credit report. 2 cell phone companies and 1 bank. I’m going to be paying those off in the next couple of months. Once I have those paid off, A.) Will it show on my credit report that I paid it off, and B.) Is there anyway to get them taken off my credit report without waiting 7 years?
C.) Will doing any of the above actually improve my credit score, I’m wanting to buy a vehicle once I get these paid off(I don’t wanna take on more debt, when I can pay the bad debt off first), but I want to make sure that I can get financed before I try to buy.
D.) Where can I go to get a copy of my credit report AND see my credit score rating. I’m willing to pay to see my FICO Score, but I don’t want to get tied into some kind of monthly thing really.
I just pulled my credit report and score fron TransUnion and Experian. I got a little concern because Experian has on record 2 request viewed by others( that is FIRST USA,NA) This company, Banking center or whoever it is requested a copy of my credit report twice this past year 2007. Frankly I do not recall having considered, taken or applied for any credit offer comming from this institution, On the other hand, Trans… does not carry any of these 2 records and the score is 45 points higher than the one Experian gave me…. I have the feeling Experian is not being that accurate because is not reporting the full lenght of time of open accounts.
